Kingdom Schools of Taekwon-Do
ITF Taekwon-Do is a modern and dynamic martial art, way of life, sport and tool for social development. Korean in origin, Taekwon-Do is famous for its spectacular range of kicks and punches; but the study of this martial art aims not only to develop the student physically, but mentally also, creating a well-rounded and balanced individual. Founder General Choi Hong-Hi believed a person could become a better member of society by incorporating some basic values into one’s behaviour:
- Courtesy
- Integrity
- Perseverance
- Self-Control
- Indomitable Spirit
A fun way to keep fit, an opportunity to learn the art of self-defence, Taekwon-Do is also a unique aid in an individual’s personal development.
Kingdom Schools of Taekwon-Do hold classes to cater for all age groups:
- Taekwon-Do Kubz is for 3 to 6 year olds
- Junior TKD is for 7 to 9 year olds
- Advanced Junior TKD is for 10 to 12 year olds as well as advanced Junior TKD students
