Lynch's is a charming traditional Irish Bakery and Coffee Shop supplying the town with scones, cupcakes, tarts, Swiss rolls and so much more

Lynch’s is a charming traditional Irish Bakery and Coffee Shop which part occupies a former racing pub and is still abrim with unusual memorabilia and racing caricatures from its previous life.

Owner, Mary Lynch, was born into a baking family and today Lynch’s Bakery supplies Listowel with a fabulous choice of Scones, Cup Cakes, Cream Cakes, Swiss Rolls, Tarts and much much more. Brown Soda Bread and Spelt Bread are specialities and everything is freshly baked every day.

Lynch’s Bakery & Coffee Shop occupies a prime spot in the town’s small square right by the statue of Listowel’s literary giant, John B Keane.

The Coffee Shop provides a relaxed and arty environment to enjoy a morning snack, light lunch or afternoon tea. A favoured hang-out of the writers’ week crowd, types who live their lives out of books, don’t be surprised if there is an impromptu reading or even a burst of song!

The cafe offers breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, light lunches – the paninis and open sandwiches are particularly popular – and all that the bakery has to offer. The coffee is freshly ground and there is a selection of teas and herbal teas.

Takeaway service available. Group bookings welcomed and the Coffee Shop is available for functions.
