The Maid of Erin is a well-appointed guest house centrally located in one of the finest heritage buildings in Listowel.

Restored in 2011, the facade features a plaster relief of the Maid of Erin by local builder Pat MacAuliffe. It depicts a Romantic image of Mother Ireland surrounded by a harp, a wolfhound and other symbols of Eire.

The Maid of Erin offers 7 rooms, a selection of single, twin, double and family rooms. All are en-suite and equipped with TV, hairdryers and tea/coffee making provision. There are also ironing facilities.

The Maid of Erin is family friendly with cots and high chairs provided if needed. Arrivals accepted from 2pm.

Breakfast is served from 8am till 12 noon in the excellent Maid of Erin Cafe & Grill downstairs.

Linda Lyons, your host, is a long time resident of Listowel and is always delighted to advise what to see and do or provide tourist information.

Maid of Erin charges €35 per person sharing or €40 per night for a single room. Special family rates apply – please enquire.

During the Summer months a package of B&B plus Evening Meal is also offered.
