Listowel Business & Community Alliance has launched a new, reusable environmentally friendly eco bag. The new bag, which can be used over and over, offers members and retailers a more sustainable option for bagging loose produce while also working to help promote Listowel as it features unique branding.
The bags were officially launched at the Listowel Races on Saturday last as part of the Listowel Tidy Towns Sustainable Style Fashion Competition. Our Rose of Tralee, Community Rose Debbie Woulfe was on hand to support the new initiative.
Rose Wall, LBCA Chairperson, said, “We are always looking at new and innovative ways to promote the town of Listowel while also supporting our members and being environmentally conscious.
“In the lead up to the festive season we wanted to offer an alternative to our retailers providing a unique Listowel Bag which can we reused over and over again by the end customer and also act as a little promotion for our town. Be sure to snap your bag at unique locations and tag us on social media!”
Initially the bags will be available to purchase from the Listowel Business & Community Alliance in the coming weeks, please contact email@example.com for more information.
With the Listowel Business and Community Alliance to the fore, it’s all happening in Listowel – where stories begin!
