This year’s theme, “Enchanted Ice”, will transform local shop windows into glittering winter wonderlands and icy palace scenes, bringing an extra touch of wonder to the streets of Lovely Listowel.
🎄 The Big Switch-On & Christmas Market – November 29th 🎅
Our favourite day of the year is almost here! Join us on Saturday, November 29th, as we officially light up Listowel for Christmas. The celebrations begin at 4.30pm in The Square, it’s the perfect way to kick off the festive season — fun for all ages. Activities will include:
• Christmas music and live entertainment
• Family fun and face painting
• Delicious food and hot treats from local market stalls
• Unique craft and gift vendors — perfect for Christmas shopping
• And a visit from some very special seasonal guests 🎅
Introducing the Enchanted Snowflake Trail
This year, the much-loved town trail gets a frosty twist with the arrival of the Enchanted Snowflake Trail. Sparkling snowflakes have floated into the windows of participating businesses—each one unique, each one hiding a little festive mystery. Families, children and explorers of all ages are invited to spot the hidden snowflakes, count them carefully.
